La comisión bicameral convocan para el 8 de octubre vistas públicas sobre proyecto ley de extinción de dominio

Escucharán los diversos sectores de la sociedad

La comisión bicameral que estudia los proyectos de ley de extinción de dominio para el decomiso civil de bienes ilícitos celebrará vistas públicas el viernes 8 de octubre, en el salón de la Asamblea Nacional, a las 10:00 de la mañana.

 

El presidente de la comisión, el senador Pedro Catrain, sostuvo que trabajan teniendo pendiente la voluntad de la sociedad dominicana “que se ha expresado por múltiples vías exigiendo el fin de la impunidad, el fortalecimiento de la transparencia y que se devuelva lo robado al patrimonio público”.

 

“Esta ley tiene un ámbito restringido: los bienes ilícitos provenientes de la corrupción al patrimonio público, los bienes obtenidos por el lavado de activos, los bienes obtenidos por actividades del narcotráfico y todo aquel que presente un incremento patrimonial personal o empresarial que no pueda justificar, respetando todas las reglas del debido proceso”, explicó el senador en un comunicado.

 

 

En la reunión de este miércoles estuvieron presentes, además del presidente de la comisión, los senadores Antonio Taveras Guzmán, Aris Yván Lorenzo, Milcíades Franjul y Félix Bautista, en calidad de invitado.
