El Ministerio de Interior y Policía exhortó a la población a mantener la prudencia durante el asueto de Año Nuevo, abstenerse de hacer disparos al aire y de manipular fuegos artificiales para evitar tragedias.

Con el lema Cuídate y cuida a tu familia, el organismo instó a cada ciudadano a preservar  su vida y la de sus seres amados y a cooperar con las autoridades en las jornadas de concienciación para despedir el 2021 y recibir el 2022 sin nada que lamentar.

Recordó que las balas perdidas han causado muchas desgracias y que los proyectiles  al aire alcanzan una distancia considerable, por lo que no siempre es posible  percatarse de si hicieron daño.

Indicó que el uso de fuegos artificiales está permitido solo a empresas autorizadas   y su venta es reglamentada  por la Ley 340-09 para Regularización y Control de Productos Pirotécnicos.

“Romper esta norma puede llevarte a prisión de seis meses a dos años, o tener una multa de 15 a 50 salarios mínimos”, consigna en una nota de prensa.
