El director de operaciones del Instituto Nacional y Alcantarillado (INAPA) Jose Luis Popa Peralta, en compañía del la Gobernadora de Samaná, Teodora Mullix explicó a la Junta de Vecinos y a los comunitarios del sector La Granja en El Municipio de Las Terrenas, sobre los avances de los trabajos para solucionar la problemática del agua, y el porque no se ha podido terminar la obra como se había acordado.
Peralta, afirmó, que a pesar que los trabajos no se han terminado en la fecha indicada los trabajos para terminar este acueducto nunca se han detenido, y se están dando los pasos técnicos de lugar.
En tanto, la próxima semana llegará un camión de agua grande para abastecer a las comunidades, y el camión pequeño, con el cual se ha estado llevando el agua a los barrios de manera regular donde es posible.
La Gobernadora Teodora Mullix como representante del poder ejecutivo ha estado de cerca para que esté servicios de agua les llegue a este sector en Las Terrenas, la misma pidió la conformación de una comisión mixta que juntos a ella y la dirección de INAPA puedan lograr que esta obra pueda ser entregada por los contratista lo más pronto posible.
El Alcalde Willy Esteban Polanco de su parte llamó a la comunidad a no dejarse influenciar de personas que no viven en en ese sector que solo buscan politizar el asunto y llamar al desorden, dijo que la obra no se ha detenido y que para lo mucho que faltaba para terminar la obra falta poco porque al igual que otras obras que existen en el país y en la provincia tenían un nudo legal para poder darle continuidad y que hoy este sector de La Granja puede darse el lujo de decir que en este gobierno de Luis Abinader, tiene un terreno para un play, el problema del vertedero casi solucionado en su totalidad, el acondicionamientos de sus calles y ver muy pronto hecho realidad que les llegue el líquido preciado a sus hogares.
Por su parte representantes de la Junta de Vecinos, y los comunitarios de este sector agradecieron la respuesta de INAPA, y la gestión que han están haciendo las autoridades para hacer posible llevar agua a cada hogar de esta comunidad.
