Gobierno entregará 300 mil nuevas tarjetas del programa Supérate

_Aumentará ayuda social y desplegará programas especiales de venta de comida y subsidios focalizados para mitigar los efectos la inflación importada por el alza del petróleo y materias primas._

Santo Domingo.-El presidente Luis Abinader anunció una serie de nuevas medidas para incrementar las ayudas sociales en beneficio de la población más vulnerable y proteger la economía de todas las familias dominicanas, que se ve mayormente afectada por la inflación importada.

Las medidas incluyen la entrega de 300 mil nuevas tarjetas del programa Supérate, que tiene un monto de 1,650 pesos. También, el aumento al subsidio de Bono Gas, nuevos Comedores Económicos y más raciones de alimentos cocidos.

Además, el mandatario dispuso un amplio programa de ventas de productos de primera necesidad a bajos precios a través del INESPRE y el subsidio de materias primas para la agropecuaria y los combustibles.

“Nuestra principal preocupación en materia económica es la inflación, que tiene un efecto muy negativo sobre el presupuesto familiar, limita la capacidad de las empresas para generar empleos e impacta en los programas sociales que protegen a los más vulnerables”, aseguró el mandatario durante su segunda rendición de cuentas ante la Asamblea Nacional.

Estas medidas buscan contrarrestar la inflación, que en 2021 fue del 8.5% por el aumento en los precios internacionales de las materias primas, principalmente del petróleo, variable externa que más incide en el costo de la canasta familiar.

En este contexto recordó los extraordinarios esfuerzos presupuestarios del Gobierno, como el subsidio de más de 13 mil millones de pesos solo en 2021 para no trasladar a los consumidores el incremento de un 120% en el precio del petróleo, pasando de 42 dólares en agosto de 2020 a 92 dólares al día de hoy.

Así mismo, insumos importados para la industria agropecuaria, como el trigo, maíz, soya y sorgo han incrementado su precio en aproximadamente un 70% y se traducen en un alza de los precios de productos de consumo masivo en la canasta familiar, como el pollo fresco, aceite de soya y pan.

Sobre las medidas, el jefe de Estado indicó que “el gobierno va a aumentar la ayuda social directa, desplegar programas especiales de venta de comida, subsidios focalizados que ayuden a todos los dominicanos, pero, sobre todo, a los que menos tienen, que son los que más necesitan”.

En adición a las nuevas tarjetas Supérate, el subsidio del Bono Gas anunciado por el Presidente aumentará de 228 pesos a 470 pesos para costear aproximadamente medio tanque de gas de 25 libras, y se añadirán otros 400,000 beneficiarios.

Se realizan los esfuerzos para instalar 54 nuevos comedores económicos, elevando a 136 mil las raciones de comidas cocidas diarias en los próximos meses. También dispuso un amplio programa de ventas de productos de primera necesidad a bajos precios a través del INESPRE y autorizó duplicar en los próximos meses las 50 bodegas móviles que operan actualmente.

En adición, autorizó al Ministerio de Industria y MiPymes subsidiar hasta un 10% de un posible aumento en los precios de las materias primas para la agropecuaria debido a la guerra entre Rusia y Ucrania.

Finalmente, en relación con el petróleo y sus derivados aseguró que el gobierno está haciendo las previsiones presupuestarias y medidas de control de gasto para continuar subsidiando y evitar que la totalidad del alza se refleje en el precio de los combustibles.
