Gobierno Dominicano mantendrán subsidios al pan, energía y combustibles.

Para contrarrestar la subida de precios en los artículos de consumo básico, el gobierno continuará con los subsidios al pan, los combustibles y al sector eléctrico, mientras que todos los sectores que ayer participaron en el primer encuentro de la Mesa de Trabajo celebrada en el Palacio Nacional para hacer frente a la crisis, firmaron un “compromiso nacional” para participar del diálogo y hallar soluciones a la crisis económica.

Tras dos horas de trabajo entre el presidente Luis Abinader y miembros de su gabinete económico con los diferentes representantes de los sectores empresariales, religiosos, sociales y agropecuarios para tratar lo relacionado a la crisis económica, los funcionarios justificaron las alzas en los productos de primera necesidad por el impacto del Covid-19 en todo el mundo.

Abinader añadió que se estima que para final de año la mayoría de los precios de los productos de la canasta básica se estabilizarán y eso ayudará a la recuperación de la economía y reiteró que para seguir el proceso de la recuperación económica, se debe realizar un esfuerzo “en conjunto” con todos los sectores.

“Es que nos han tocado todas las crisis, si te pones a ver ninguna (de las crisis actuales) se debe a un solo factor, sino a varios”, afirmó el mandatario.

Abinader señaló que tanto un reajuste salarial, la continuidad de los subsidios además del compromiso de un “acuerdo nacional” podría ser el inicio de la solución final a la crisis económica que afecta al país.

Un reajuste salarial

Durante la reunión, Abinader agregó que más los trabajadores necesitan un reajuste en los salarios para poder hacer frente a la escalada de precios altos.

“Tiene que venir un reajuste salarial. Yo creo que un aumento mitigaría un poco el aumento (de los precios). Eso tiene que venir”, recalcó el gobernante.

Sobre ese aspecto de la discusión, el presidente del Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (Conep), Pedro Brache, expresó que la propuesta realizada por los sindicatos de empleados para que se aumente el salario en un 40 % “no es razonable”, debido a las circunstancias actuales.

“Ya lo veremos, en este momento no sé si es razonable (el aumento del 40 %), tendremos que ver las condiciones porque lo que sí queremos buscar es un equilibrio entre el empleo y el salario, o sea que el aumento de salario no genere desempleo y que tampoco nos veamos ciegos de la situación del alza de los precios,”, agregó Brache.

El empresario dijo que pronto serán convocados y tomarán “muy en serio” la propuesta del sector sindical y también hay que esperar la que realizarán los empresarios.

Los dirigentes sindicales Gabriel del Río y Rafael (Pepe) Abreu se mostraron en desacuerdo con lo dicho por Brache y plantearon que lo que “no es razonable” es que solo el 11 por ciento de los trabajadores ganen entre 30,000 y 50,000 pesos mensuales.

El Gobierno también añadió que para contrarrestar la crisis, seguirán con los subsidios al pan, los combustibles y al sector eléctrico.

De acuerdo con  el Ministro de Industria y Comercio, Víctor Bisonó, de no ser por las medidas tomada por el Poder Ejecutivo para absorber el alza en los precios de los combustibles, los mismos estarían al menos 10 pesos más caros, con relación al costo actual.

 Bisonó manifestó que sólo para la semana pasada asumir el alza de los combustibles le costó al Gobierno RD$300 millones.

Sobre el aumento del pan, el ministro agregó que aún se mantienen conversando con los diferentes sectores de fabricación del producto para que el mismo se mantenga a un precio asequible para los más vulnerables.
Productos subieron
El ministro de Agricultura, Límber Cruz indicó que solo cinco de 15 productos básicos de los que forman parte de la mesa de cada dominicano, subieron de precio de diciembre de 2020 a mayo de este 2021.

Cruz mostró unos datos que indican que solo el arroz, la yuca y las carnes de res, cerdo y pollo aumentaron entre 1.89% y 13.14% durante el período.

Los alimentos que  bajaron de precio

Entre los alimentos que han disminuido su precio Cruz citó la papa blanca (-25.80%); las habichuelas rojas (-1.82%); los plátanos (-10.43%); el ajo importado (-27.93%); los tomates de ensalada (-35.93%); la zanahoria (-21.34%); el guineo maduro (-1.38%); la piña (-5.65%); y los huevos (-4.32%).
