Gobierno del presidente Abinader, dignifica el sueldo de los policías.

Santo Domingo RD– Como parte de la reforma policial, el Gobierno se ha dedicado a elevar los salarios de la Policía Nacional.

La Presidencia informó la actualización de la nueva escala salarial luego de que, en el discurso de rendición de cuentas de febrero pasado, el presidente Luis Abinader anunciara un nuevo incremeto.

Los sueldos en la Policía Nacional varían de acuerdo al rango, a saber, en lo adelante:

El salario de un raso pasó de RD$20,463.25 a RD$ 24,555.90, el de un cabo de RD$22,613.31 a RD$ 26,233.93.

Los sargentos mayor pasan de recibir RD$26,428.42 a RD$ 30,394.94 mientras que los tenientes de 26 mil pesos pasan a ostentar, el segundo RD$ 31,510.28 y el primer RD$ 32,541.78.

Los capitanes de RD$28,941.76 a RD$ 34,575.75; los mayores de RD$ 30,906 a RD$ 35,615.53; los tenientes coroneles de RD$ 34,983 a RD$ 39,234.81 y los coroneles de RD$ 39,715 a RD$ 42,907.52.

A su vez los generales ostentaban un salario de RD$47,881, ahora el general de Brigada cobra RD$ 50,275.72 y el mayor general RD$ 60,049.00.
La proyección del Gobierno es que a octubre de este año el mínimo salarial de un agente policial sea el equivalente a 500 dólares.

Más beneficios

Otras conquistas logradas para el cuerpo del orden, según una nota de prensa del Ministerio de Interior y Policía, ha sido que los agentes reciban el servicio de transporte gratuito en el Metro de Santo Domingo, el Teleférico y en las unidades de la Oficina Metropolitana de Servicios de Autobuses (Omsa).

También “becas universitarias para ellos y sus hijos, seguro médico complementario, descuentos en supermercados y suministro de alimentos cocidos de los Comedores Económicos”.
