Gobierno da primer palazo para la construcción de un polideportivo y centro comunal en Villa la Mata de Cotuí.

Sánchez Ramírez.- En su empeño por el desarrollo progresivo de los municipios en todas sus áreas, el Gobierno dominicano a través del Ministerio de Deportes dejó iniciado los trabajos para la construcción de un polideportivo y centro comunitario en Villa La Mata de la provincia Sánchez Ramírez.

 

La obra fue solicitada por un grupo de líderes deportistas al presidente Luis Abinader en el Consejo de Ministros realizado en esta provincia en octubre pasado, quien de inmediato la aprobó, y hoy inicia el sueño esperado.

 

El ministro Administrativo de la Presidencia, José Ignacio Paliza, en representación del jefe de Estado, junto al ministro de Deportes, Francisco Camacho, dieron el primer palazo para la obra que impactará a los jóvenes del municipio y zonas aledañas.

 

Sánchez Ramírez posee una población de aproximadamente 160 mil habitantes, los que en poco tiempo tendrán un escenario que servirá para celebrar graduaciones, eventos culturales y otras actividades de interés provincial.

 

Al manifestar que el deporte es una herramienta fundamental para el avance de un pueblo, Paliza dijo la intención del Estado en apoyar iniciativas cómo estas.

 

“Cuenten con el apoyo del Gobierno dominicano para esta iniciativa y cualquier otra similar que pueda requerir de nuestra ayuda, es el compromiso de nuestro presidente Luis Abinader de poder tocar las fibras más sensibles de nuestra sociedad, sobre todo, de nuestra juventud“, expresó.

 

Tanto el alcalde Miguel Martínez como la gobernadora Cristiana Rodríguez, agradecieron al gobierno por el soporte brindado para el desarrollo continuo de Villa La Mata.

 

En la actividad participó el viceministro Administrativo de Asuntos Interinstitucionales y de las Relaciones con los Poderes del Estado, Ovi Saldívar y el director provincial de Deportes, Ramón Apolinar Camacho.
