Gobierno autoriza buscar solución a caso de peregrinos de El Seibo.

_Consultor Jurídico advierte que esa solución nunca será bajo la premisa de que de alguna manera se pueda desconocer o violar el derecho de propiedad legítimo de alguna persona._

 

Santo Domingo. – El presidente Luis Abinader autorizó al Consultor Jurídico del Poder Ejecutivo, Antoliano Peralta Romero, continuar buscando una solución al caso de los campesinos de la provincia El Seibo que reclaman la devolución de 18 mil tareas de tierra.

Al recibir una comisión de unas 8 personas en el Palacio Nacional, Peralta Romero explicó que esta reunión tiene como propósito dar continuidad a conversaciones que se habían iniciado previamente para buscar una solución al tema en cuestión.

 

«Quiero decir y que quede esto claro, que ni el presidente de la República, ni quién les habla, vamos a interferir con respecto a la propiedad de la que pueda ser titular una persona», advirtió el Consultor Jurídico.

 

Y agregó: «Cualquier solución que se le busque a esto, es respetando el derecho de propiedad privada, porque ese es un derecho constitucional que tutela a cada uno de los ciudadanos que sea dueño de un inmueble determinado».

En ese mismo orden, insistió que no se planteará una solución para el tema que sirva solo para entretenerles.

 

«El presidente nos ha instruido a continuar buscando una solución, pero que esa solución nunca será bajo la premisa de que de alguna manera se pueda desconocer o violar el derecho de propiedad legítimo de alguna persona», enfatizó Peralta Romero.

El Consultor Jurídico aclaró que si hay una discusión sobre la titularidad de un terreno, eso es un tema de los tribunales, en el cual el Poder Ejecutivo no va a interferir.

 

Aseguró que este Gobierno mantiene la mística y firme decisión de no interferir con asuntos que sean potestad de la justicia.

 

«De manera que aquí vamos a hablar con las cartas viradas y yo espero que salgamos con alguna solución», agregó.

 

El Consultor Jurídico expresó su satisfacción de que los medios de comunicación estén presentes para que la conversación tenga mayor transparencia y agregó que por petición de los campesinos todos los compromisos que se hagan, serán públicos.

 

«El Poder Ejecutivo se ha empeñado mucho en esto y el señor presidente y la consultoría, porque nosotros estamos convencidos de que la gente que quiere trabajar y que trabaja la tierra hay que estimularla y hay que buscarle una solución, independientemente de la discusión sobre el derecho de propiedad o no derecho de propiedad», destacó el funcionario.

Los campesinos forman parte de la Asociación de Productores Agropecuarios Mamá Tingó y desde el pasado lunes 21 de noviembre del año en curso, iniciaron su peregrinación desde el parque Duarte, en El Seibo, hasta el Palacio Nacional.
