En expediente contra Alexis Medina se develaron «irregularidades» cometidas en la UERS.

El Ministerio Público avanzó este lunes hasta la página 831 de la lectura de 3,445 con que consta el expediente acusatorio contra Alexis Medina, principal encartado en la red de corrupción Operación Antipulpo y otras 27 personas físicas y 21 compañías.

Mirna Ortiz, representante del Ministerio Público, indicó que se tocaron temas relacionados a presuntas irregularidades cometidas por Medina y compartes en la suprimida Unidad de Electrificación Rural y Sub-urbana (UERS).

«Hoy estuvimos viendo el esquema de corrupción instaurado por esta estructura cri­minal, una de las instituciones del Estado que fueron depredadas fruto del esquema y se otorgaron más de 10 millones de pesos en pagos de sobornos para la obtención de obras», reveló Ortiz.

Los señalados enfrentan cargos en el extenso expediente por alegada corrupción y lavado de activos que usaba el poder de Alexis como hermano del exmandatario Danilo Medina para desfalcar las arcas del Estado por más de 6,000 mil millones de pesos, según el Ministerio Público.

 

Citó que hoy se tocó también el tema del lavado de activos y la operación a través de testaferros.

Asimismo, en la audiencia preliminar se enrostraron la presunta adquisición de vehículos de lujos, Villas, muebles e inmue­bles.

 

Mirna Ortiz manifestó que Alexis Medina no tiene como justificar el dinero manejado.

 

Alexis Medina cumple arresto domiciliario como medida de coerción, meses atrás estuvo preso en Najayo pero la medida fue flexibilizada. Ahora es citado cada lunes y viernes a la audiencia preliminar del caso.

La audiencia preliminar es dirigida por el juez Deiby Timoteo Peguero, del Séptimo Juzgado de la Instrucción del Distrito Nacional, ubicado en el Palacio de Justicia de Ciudad Nueva los citados días, comenzando a las 9:00 de la mañana.

 

En todo lo que se lleva de lectura del expediente, se ha presentando la afectación al Fonper (Fondo Patrimonial de la Empresa Reformada) y al Ministerio de Salud Pública, igual el tema de la remodelación de los hospitales.

Imputados de la Operación Antipulpo

En la Operación Antipulpo, que señala como principal cerebro a Alexis Medina Sánchez, además está involucrada Carmen Magalys Medina. Los dos hermanos del exmandatario Danilo Medina.

 

De igual modo, están acusados: Francisco Pagán Rodríguez, exdirector de la Oisoe; Lorenzo Wilfredo Hidalgo Núñez (Freddy), exsecretario de Salud Pública; el excontralor Rafael Antonio Germosén Andújar; el expresidente del Fonper, Fernando A. Rosa Rosa; Aquiles Alejandro Christopher Sánchez, Domingo Antonio Santiago Muñoz, Julián Esteban Suriel Suazo y José Dolores Santana Carmona.
