Dos personas mueren y cinco heridos en Guachupita durante enfrentamiento a tiros entre bandas.

Los enfrentamientos entre líderes de bandas siguen cobrando vidas en República Dominicana. La madrugada de este lunes se registró un enfrentamiento a tiros entre estas organizaciones delictivas que dejó un saldo de dos personas muertas y cinco heridas en el sector Guachupita, del Distrito Nacional.

Los fallecidos fueron identificados como Deisy Lisset Sánchez Guerrero, de 19 años, y Richarson Jones Méndez, de 26, quienes estaban en un centro de diversión compartiendo cuando ocurrió el hecho.

De acuerdo con versiones de los comunitarios de la zona, el enfrentamiento empezó tras los integrantes de una banda tomar la justicia por sus manos y querer «vengar» la muerte de uno de los suyos, la cual ocurrió hace dos meses.

Por la muerte de dicha persona culpaban a Richarson Jones, sin embargo, sus familiares aseguran que este no tenía nada que ver con el hecho y que simplemente lo trataron de involucrar.

En medio del velatorio de Richarson, en la calle La 9, del sector La Ciénaga, donde residía, su madre manifestó a Diario Libre que, aunque reconoce que su hijo no era tranquilo, puede asegurar que no tuvo participación en ningún asesinato.

«No te voy a decir que era un santo, pero tampoco es como dicen. A él lo acusan de asesino y de muchas cosas, pero él nunca ha matado a nadie, la muerte de él vino de ahí. Hace dos meses mataron a un muchacho en el barrio y lo mencionaron a él», dijo Pura Altagracia Méndez.

Sus parientes piden justicia al afirmar que Richarson no fue responsable de las supuestas acusaciones que se le atribuían.

«Mi hijo era muy bueno, tenía un alma buena, pero una banda le cayó. Eso lo hacían ellos que robaban y mataban y se lo pegaban a él. Él era un muchacho sano que le gustaban sus bebidas y sus amigos y los amigos lo traicionaron», expresó su abuela Sofía Montás.

Richarson dejó un niño de dos años en la orfandad.

Los restos de Richarson son velados en medio de música y bebidas alcohólicas en el sector que lo vio crecer: La Ciénaga. Tanto sus familiares como sus allegados le dan el último adiós con las canciones que le gustaban.

Será sepultado esta tarde en el cementerio Cristo Salvador, en el sector San Isidro, de Santo Domingo Este.

Las autoridades de la Policía Nacional han desplegado un operativo en la zona para investigar los detalles del tiroteo y dar con el paradero de los responsables.

Guachupita en silencio
Tras el hecho, en el sector Guachupita reina el silencio, ya que los comunitarios temen hablar del tema por represalias que pudieran accionar los representantes de las bandas.

Al preguntarle sobre el hecho, nadie sabía nada.
