Director de la Policía Nacional pide disculpas por haber dicho que no aceptará en la institución a hijos de madres solteras

El director general de la Policía Nacional, mayor general Eduardo Alberto Then, se retractó de las declaraciones emitidas este viernes en el programa radial El Gobierno de la Mañana, donde dijo que esa institución limitaría el reclutamiento de hijos de madres solteras.

 

“Manifiesto mis sinceras disculpas por una expresión inadecuada, al tiempo que doy las seguridades para ingresar a nuestra Policía los hijos de madres solteras no tendrán ningún tipo de restricciones conforme a los reglamentos institucionales”, manifestó el director policial a través de un video puesto a circular luego de que fuera ampliamente criticado por sus declaraciones.

 

En tanto que, en el audiovisual, en que el oficial parece estar leyendo un documento, dijo que “en ningún momento hubo intención en mi respuesta en el programa radial El Gobierno de la Mañana de denigrar la imagen y sacrificio de las madres dominicanas, responsables de crianza y formación de sus hijos”, indicó.

“Nosotros no vamos a aceptar mucho al policía o el reclutamiento de hombres y mujeres de madres solteras, o sea vamos a tener mucho cuidado por eso, porque esas madres solteras, que no tienen ninguna culpa, que es por la desigualdad tal vez que han sufrido, tienen que irse a trabajar para mantener a sus hijos y tienen que dejarlos solos” había dicho Then mientras era entrevistado en el programa radial que se transmite por la emisora Z101.

 

“Los hombres que nos está enviando la sociedad a nosotros ahí es que está el mayor problema, porque la educación empieza por la familia, la familia está muy deteriorada. O sea, nosotros vamos a captar de ahora en adelante hijos de papá y mamá que estén vivos, que estén ahí con ellos, y que nosotros podamos exigirles a través de sus padres cuál es la educación que les han dado”, agrego Then en el programa radial.
