Deligne  Ascención dice Gobierno invierte RD$ 60 mil millones en sector construcción

El ministro de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC), Deligne Ascención destacó este martes que   actualmente el Estado invierte  más de 60 mil millones de pesos construcción de nuevas obras, como forma de superar el marasmo en que la pandemia del COVID- 19 ha sometido al país.

“El Gobierno del presidente Luis Abinader ha decidido retomar las obras que estaban paralizadas, y hoy  el Ministerio de Obras Públicas ejecuta más de 330 proyectos que sobrepasan los 60 mil millones de pesos”, informó.

El funcionario dijo que uno de los sectores que más  ha aportado a la economía dominicana en los últimos meses es el sector construcción.

Deligne Ascención afirmó que la construcción de nuevas obras ha sido un soporte importante                                en la evolución de la economía dominicana, lo que ha sido reconocido en los informes del Banco Central.

Deligne Ascención refirió que en los primeros cuatro meses del presente año, el sector construcción es el de mayor dinamismo en la reactivación económica, mostrando así la confianza de los inversionistas en el clima de negocios establecido por el nuevo gobierno.

 

Citó que las facilidades crediticias impulsadas por las autoridades monetarias y en las instrucciones impartidas en las áreas técnicas del Ministerio de Obras Públicas para agilizar los trámites de aprobación de proyectos del sector privado de la construcción.

Explicó que las perspectivas de desarrollo de las obras financiadas con fondos del presupuesto nacional a través del MOPC consisten en  ejecutar proyectos en todo el país.

“Nuestro enfoque se sustenta en desarrollar inversiones equilibradas regionalmente, que pongan en el centro de sus objetivos a la gente, a los ciudadanos que demandan una conectividad vial segura y confortable, con edificaciones que cumplan con estándares de calidad y una política de mantenimiento y restauración permanente de las obras, que aseguren la sostenibilidad y la armonía con el medio ambiente.» Afirmó el funcionario.

Plan de  inversiones

Aseguró que desde el MOPC se ha desarrollado un vasto plan de inversiones que incluye un extenso programa de pavimentación, señalización y reparación de las principales carreteras, avenidas, elevados, puentes, calles y caminos vecinales, que está presente en todas las provincias debido al marcado deterioro de un gran número de vías que creaban retrasos en el tránsito, falta de comunicación efectiva e inseguridad en la vida cotidiana de  la gente.

Destacó que el desarrollo regional integrador del territorio nacional es una parte consustancial de nuestro programa de gobierno y es un eje transversal de toda la inversión pública que realizamos y hemos programado realizar en nuestra administración.

Dijo que la conectividad vial efectiva entre nuestros principales centros de desarrollo industrial, turísticos, agropecuarios y comerciales se materializa en un intensivo programa de proyectos de gran valor agregado por su impacto en la economía y en crear eficiencia en ahorro de tiempo en las conexiones, seguridad en las carreteras, mejoramiento de transito de carga pesada y de pasajeros y modernización de las infraestructuras.

Las declaraciones de Deligne Ascención se produjeron en el marco de la conferencia dictada durante el desarrollo del evento CONSTRUCTION SUMMIT 2021, organizado por Revista Mercado, un espacio creado para analizar y discutir la importancia de la construcción en el desarrollo de República Dominicana, trazando una nueva hoja de ruta en la era post pandemia.
