El Consejo de Disciplina de la Cámara de Diputados sancionó y declaró culpable al diputado de La Romana, Pedro Botello, por los hechos ocurridos en las distintas manifestaciones que exigían la liberación del 30 por ciento de los fondos de pensiones.

 

“Se declara la culpabilidad del honorable diputado Pedro Tomás Botello Solimán, por encontrarse contrario a lo establecido en el literal j), del artículo 25 del Reglamento de la Cámara de Diputados en su deber de respetar la solemnidad demandada en las áreas del Congreso Nacional”, así lo estipula de forma textual el dictamen número 001-2021-CD.

Asimismo, el Consejo castigó al diputado Botello con la censura pública y privación de representar a la Cámara de Diputados en eventos nacionales e internacionales por un plazo de dos meses.

 

El legislador tendrá 30 días para interponer un recurso jerárquico ante el pleno de la Cámara Baja.
