Autoridades de Samaná a través de la Presidencia de la República entregan cheque de 15,750,000.00 millones de pesos para la compra de los terrenos del Play de La Granja en Las Terrenas.

Las Terrenas Samaná – Por gestiones del Senador Pedro Catrain, a través del Ministerio Administrativo de la Presidencia en el día de hoy con la presencia de la gobernadora Teodora Mullix, así como también de líderes comunitarios y representantes de ligas de beisbol infantil, entregaron un cheque por un valor de 15, 750,000.00 millones de pesos para la compra de los terrenos del Play de La Granja en Las Terrenas.


Los comunitarios de esa barriada en Las Terrenas venían por muchos años demandado la necesidad de comprar esos terrenos para su play, ya que jugaban en el clandestinamente y que en muchas ocasiones fueron amenazados por los dueños de ser desalojados.


El cheque fue recibido por representantes de instituciones sociales y deportivas de dicha comunidad, en la presencia de comunitarios que se dieron cita a este acto de entrega.


Los representantes de las instituciones, agradecieron al Presidente Abinader y al Senador Catrain quien desde inicios de su legislatura se identificó como un abanderado de que este logro fuera de todos y que hoy se está cumpliendo.


El legislador Pedro Catrain también agradeció el apoyo del gobierno a través del Ministerio Administrativo de la presidencia que pudo escuchar la necesidad de estos jóvenes deportistas de tener su play y poder jugar sin temer a ser desalojados del mismo.


La gobernadora Teodora Mullix, por su parte manifestó que esta es una muestra de que este gobierno cumple y que está de la mano de la gente, y esta es la demostración, los jóvenes de la Granja gritaban a los cuatros vientos contar con este terreno para poder tener su propio play.


También estuvieron presentes el regional de turismo Camilo Medina, de gestión presidencial Guillermo Ventura, de Interior y Policía Fernando Medina, la Dra. Mariana Vanderhorts, el Coronel Paulino, entre otras personalidades.
