El Senado aprobó la tarde de este martes un proyecto de resolución que solicita al presidente Luis Abinader que disponga la prohibición de la entrada a lugares públicos y privados y otros sitios a personas que no hayan sido vacunadas contra el COVID-19.
La iniciativa es de la autoría del senador de la Fuerza del Pueblo, Dionis Sánchez, y fue secundada por los senadores Martín Nolasco (PRM) y Ramón Rogelio Genao (PRSC).
La propuesta tiene como propósito prohibir la entrada de personas a centros donde se expendan alimentos, bancos, restaurantes y otros sitios donde pueda producirse la aglomeración de personas que no están inoculadas como forma de preservar la salud colectiva y el bien público.
También el proyecto de resolución busca que para poder usar el transporte público los pasajeros deban mostrar sus tarjetas de vacunación.
El proponente, senador Dionis Sánchez, vocero del bloque de la Fuerza del Pueblo, dijo que nadie tiene el derecho a contagiar a otras personas que sí se vacunaron contra el virus.
“Esto lo hacemos como un respaldo para el presidente Luis Abinader, porque aquí hay vacunas contra el coronavirus. Con esto no se viola el derecho de nadie porque ya el mismo estado de emergencia en que vivimos nos restringe algunos derechos”, manifestó Dionis Sánchez
