“Se prohíbe del uso de playas y los deportes acuáticos en todas las costas del país, además quedan prohibidas todas las actividades recreativas en montaña y el uso de balnearios en ríos, pozas, canales y arroyos”, establecen.
Las provincias que se mantienen en alerta amarilla son: Hato Mayor, San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, La Altagracia, Samaná, El Seibo, María Trinidad Sánchez y Duarte.
Mientras que en verde están: San Cristóbal, Sánchez Ramírez, Santiago, Distrito Nacional, Monte Plata, Monseñor Nouel, Barahona, Santiago Rodríguez, Montecristi, Hermanas Mirabal, Espaillat, Santo Domingo, Peravia, Azua, San Juan, Valverde, Puerto Plata y San José de Ocoa.
La Oficina Nacional de Meteorología (Onamet) pronosticó que para este viernes, el tiempo atmosférico permanecerá bajo los efectos de un disturbio tropical con alta probabilidad de convertirse en ciclón tropical en las siguientes 48 horas, mientras transita al sur de nuestro territorio, en aguas del mar Caribe.
Se pronostica que este fin de semana persistirán los aguaceros, tormentas eléctricas y ráfagas de viento, siendo más intensos y frecuentes en horas de la tarde hasta las primeras horas de la noche, hacia poblados de la costa sur del país, la vertiente sur de la cordillera central, y en localidades de las regiones noroeste, noreste, suroeste y sureste.
