La DNCD incauta 510 paquetes cocaína en costas de Bayahibe; apresan a un dominicano y un colombiano

Santo Domingo, RD– La Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD) informó la incautación de 510 paquetes de cocaína, al interceptar una embarcación en las costas de la provincia La Altagracia, en una acción conjunta con el apoyo de la Armada de República Dominicana y bajo la coordinación del Ministerio Público.

Los agentes de la DNCD y efectivos de la Armada interceptaron, a varias millas náuticas al Sur de Bayahíbe, a los ocupantes de una lancha tipo gofast de 23 pies de eslora, en cuyo interior se ocuparon 17 sacos de nylon, con 510 paquetes de la sustancia.

En la operación conjunta fueron apresados un dominicano y un colombiano, quienes según informes de inteligencia, habrían llegado a costas dominicanas desde Sudamérica.

A los detenidos se les ocupó nueve tanques de plástico, un garrafón de combustible, dos motores fuera de borda, un Gps, un teléfono satelital, un neverita con agua y bebidas energizantes, entre otras evidencias.

El Ministerio Público y la DNCD amplían el proceso investigativo y activan la persecución de otros integrantes de esta red de narcotráfico internacional para apresarlos y ponerlos a disposición de la justicia.

 Los 510 paquetes están siendo enviados bajo cadena de custodia al Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Forenses (INACIF) para determinar el tipo y peso exacto de la sustancia.
