Reinas del Caribe ya tienen su tercera victoria al hilo en el clasificatorio olímpico.

La Selección de Voleibol Femenina de la República Dominicana obtuvo este miércoles su tercera victoria al hilo al vencer a México con marcador de tres sets por cero (25-17, 27-25 y 25-16), correspondiente al Grupo A, del Torneo Preolímpico que se celebra aquí.

Este jueves 21, a las 10 de la noche, (hora dominicana) las Reinas del Caribe se medirán al conjunto de Serbia, actual campeona mundial y que ocupa el lugar número dos en el ranking mundial, que está invicto con foja de 4-0.

Se recuerda que el conjunto criollo, en el pasado Torneo de la Liga de Naciones, logró una resonante victoria en cinco sets sobre Serbia en un partido lleno de acción y tensión, con parciales que terminaron 22-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-19 y 15-10 a favor de «Las Reinas».
Ahora, las caribeñas tienen marca de tres ganados y uno perdido, cuya derrota vino de las manos de la República Checa.

El ataque ofensivo de las dominicanas fue liderado por Gaila González con 14 puntos, seguida de la central, Eve Mejia, con siete, Yonkaira Peña con seis, Vielka Peralta, cinco, Bethania de la Cruz cinco. El juego duró 1:17 minutos.

El dirigente del equipo nacional manejó muy bien la rotación de sus jugadoras, incluso, utilizó a la juvenil Ariana Rodríguez en las acomodadas en lugar de la estelar y capitana, Niverka Marte y lo hizo de manera muy adecuada.

Por México, brillaron en la causa perdida, Grecia Castro con 14 puntos, Aime Topete con 12 y Karen Rivera con nueve.

El bloqueo criollo, nueva vez, hizo estragos en la ofensiva de las mexicanas.

En el segundo parcial, las mexicanas ofrecieron una brutal resistencia y llevaron el marcador hasta más del límite (27-25). El ataque de México fue guiado por Grecia Castro y Karen Rivera con fuertes remates.

En el tercero, las dominicanas doblegaron a sus rivales con un gran desempeño ofensivo de la central, Lisvel –Eve- Mejía para cerrar el partido.
