Padres de los estudiantes contentos al que el Ministerio de Educación de la República Dominicana (Minerd) ratificó este jueves que el nuevo año escolar comienza el próximo lunes día 28.
Así lo informó el ministro Ángel Hernández en un acto encabezado por el presidente Luis Abinader, en el liceo Germán Martínez Taveras, de Arroyo Hondo, quien puntualizó que se han adoptado acciones para garantizar la impartición de docencia, como es la intervención de cinco planteles impactados por la tormenta tropical Franklin.
Señaló que la Dirección General de Gestión de Riesgo del Minerd reportó que la tormenta Franklin causó daños como desplome de verja perimetral, daños estructurales y del tendido eléctrico, así como filtraciones, por lo que la Dirección General de Infraestructura Escolar inició su intervención para garantizar que estén aptos para recibir a la comunidad educativa el próximo lunes.
Dijo que de los centros educativos impactados por la tormenta hay tres de San Cristóbal: Cañada de Agua, Escuela Majagual y José Francisco Peña Gómez, y dos de Santo Domingo: los liceos José Duarte y Brígida Pérez.
Para el próximo año escolar, Educación tiene proyectado que se impartan 193 días de docencia para los estudiantes, equivalentes a 40 semanas de clases. Para los docentes serían 217, igual a 45 semanas. El primer periodo de docencia será de septiembre a diciembre para un total de 17 semanas, mientras que el segundo periodo será de enero a junio, de 23 semanas.
