Vicepresidenta deja inaugurado el remozamiento del Hospital Municipal Natividad Alcalá en el Limón y un centro de Primer Nivel en la comunidad de Rancho Español en Samaná

Samaná. – La vicepresidenta Raquel Peña y el director del Servicio Nacional de Salud (SNS), Mario Lama, entregaron este miércoles el Hospital Municipal Natividad Arcalá y el Centro de Primer Nivel (CPN) en Rancho Español, totalmente remozados a los residentes de la provincia Samaná, como parte del compromiso con mejorar la calidad de vida de la población a través del acceso a servicios de salud de calidad y espacios dignos.

La vicepresidenta enfatizó que el Gobierno tiene el firme objetivo de seguir construyendo un país que ofrezca oportunidades y calidad de vida para todos, con obras como estas, entregadas en Samaná.

 

Peña, resaltó que ese servicio médico de calidad es posible gracias, sobre todo, al trabajo de los médicos, las enfermeras y todos los profesionales de la salud que laboran en cada hospitales, y que para fortalecerlo la administración del presidente Luis Abinader trabaja para seguir llevando a todo el país programas como Más Salud y Esperanza de Vida, destinado a entregar medicamentos esenciales gratuitos a pacientes hipertensos y diabéticos a través de las Farmacias del Pueblo.

Por su lado, el titular del SNS, Mario Lama, reiteró el compromiso del Gobierno de seguir trabajando para dignificar las atenciones de salud que se ofrecen a la población. 《Con estas dos obras dejadas en funcionamiento, sumamos más de 50 hospitales y alrededor de 550 Centros de Primer Nivel, remozados y equipados para acercar las atenciones médicas de manera óptima como los dominicanos se lo merecen》.

 

El doctor Lama, indicó que se continuará eficientizando los centros de salud de Samaná y contratando el personal requerido, para que los samanenses tengan atenciones eficientes en espacios adecuados y con personal capacitado, apuntó.

 

Asimismo, el titular del SNS anunció que se entregará en las próximas semanas el hospital de Sánchez.

 

El Hospital Municipal Natividad Alcalá, en la localidad El Limón, fue seleccionado por el SNS para su readecuación por daños ocasionados por el huracán Fiona. Con una inversión total de RD$20,606,827.37 distribuidos en infraestructura y equipamiento.

 

Se le realizó cambio de pisos, techos de Aluzinc térmico, plafón, aparatos sanitarios, puertas y ventanas, además se construyó la verja frontal, nuevas instalaciones eléctricas, colocación de muebles de cocina, laboratorio, señalizaciones, pintura de interior y exterior.

 

Intervenciones que permitieron readecuar las áreas de consultorios, con tres polivalentes y uno odontológico, Laboratorio, tres habitaciones de internamientos con cinco camas, Urgencias, Farmacia, Cocina, Comedor y Residencia médica.

 

En cuanto al Centro de Primer Nivel Rancho Español, se remozó dos consultorios, Sala de Vacunas, Urgencias, Farmacia y residencia médica, también se realizó los trabajos de impermeabilización de los techos, construcción de casetas de basura y gas, la verja frontal, cambio de pisos, puertas, ventanas, aparatos sanitarios, nuevas instalaciones eléctricas y sanitarias, por más de diez millones de pesos.
