Terrible accidente de tránsito ocurrido la madrugada de este domingo en la comunidad de Bastida, municipio de Las Yayas, ha dejado un saldo trágico de 10 muertos y 17 heridos. Entre las víctimas mortales se encuentran un miembro del Ejército de la República Dominicana y otro de la Policía Nacional, lo que ha conmocionado aún más a la comunidad.
El accidente tuvo lugar cuando un camión perdió el control y se estrelló contra un bar donde varias personas estaban consumiendo bebidas alcohólicas. La Dirección General de Seguridad y Tránsito Terrestre ha confirmado hasta el momento 10 fallecidos, pero no descarta que la cifra pueda aumentar debido a la gravedad de las lesiones de algunos de los heridos.
Hemos recopilado algunas imágenes ofrecidas por conocidos de las víctimas, algunos de los cuales estaban presente en el lugar de los hechos y ahora despiden en las redes sociales, con gran pesar, la partida de estos seres queridos.
La mayoría de los heridos han sido trasladados a centros de salud en San Juan de la Maguana, donde reciben atención médica de emergencia. La comunidad de Bastida y las alrededores están profundamente afectadas por la magnitud del suceso.
Las autoridades siguen investigando las causas del accidente y monitoreando la situación para brindar apoyo a las víctimas y sus familias. Se espera que en las próximas horas se den a conocer más detalles sobre este lamentable acontecimiento.
