Las Terrenas, RD- El Gobierno a través del ministerio de turismo y de su ministro David Collado dejó iniciado los trabajos reconstrucción del pueblo de pescadores, iluminación, alcantarillado, entre otros en los municipios de Las Terrenas

 

Estas obras, que tendrán una inversión de más de 272 millones de pesos y están a cargo del Comité Ejecutor de Infraestructuras de Zonas Turísticas (CEIZTUR) del MITUR, son parte del plan estratégico implementado por el ministro Collado para fortalecer la oferta turística de Samaná.

«Después de un proceso transparente, hoy volvemos a Las Terrenas para dejar iniciados los trabajos en la plaza del Pueblo de los Pescadores, un verdadero símbolo de este hermoso destino turístico, bendecido por la naturaleza», dijo el ministro Collado.

El proyecto Plaza del Pueblo de los Pescadores es una obra de un área de intervención de 4,930 metros cuadrados de construcción. Se adoquinarán los 190 metros lineales de vía, localizados en toda la franja frontal, como también, se creará una plaza de integración del entorno con los locales de venta de 960 metros cuadrados.

 

Además de tener 3 accesos a la playa, dicho proyecto albergará 10 módulos de ventas para comida; así como, 2 módulos para baños, punto de información, cuartos de servicios generales, iluminación, señalización.

 

La obra incluye iluminación general, paisajismo, sistema de seguridad, cisterna, cárcamo de bombeo, reductores de velocidad, depósitos de basura y estacionamiento bicicletas, entre otras facilidades.

El alcalde de Las Terrenas, Eduardo Esteban, al dar las palabras de bienvenida, valoró el apoyo que gobierno del presidente Abinader y del ministro David Collado, en embellecer las aéreas públicas del municipio de Las Terrenas y agradecido también por ver iniciada una obra tan esperada por los terreneros como lo es el Pueblo de los Pescadores.

La bendición de inicio de la obra estuvo a cargo del Pastor Jesús Mato Carela, quien también agradeció y felicitó el trabajo que viene realizando el gobierno por el desarrollo del municipio de Las Terrenas.

En las actividades estuvieron presentes las principales autoridades provinciales y municipales, entre los que se encuentra; Teodora Mullix, gobernadora, los alcaldes; Eduardo Esteban de Las Terrenas y Rafi Mercado de El Limón, Robison Espino, Colombo Matías, entre otros funcionarios, empresarios e invitados.
