Reportan 222 casos nuevos de coronavirus y aumentan a 1,072 los activos

El Ministerio de Salud Pública reportó 222 casos nuevos de SARS-CoV-2, tras procesar 4,562 muestras, de acuerdo al boletín epidemiológico número 797.En las últimas 24 horas se procesaron 3,857 pruebas de ‘Reacción en Cadena de la Polimerasa (PCR) y 705 pruebas de antígenos.

 

Las autoridades sanitarias informaron que la positividad de las últimas cuatro semanas se coloca en 2.57% y la diaria en 6.56%. Permanecen activos 1,072 casos activos.

 

No fue notificada ninguna muerte por la enfermedad, mientras que a la fecha un total de 4,377 personas han muerto por la enfermedad desde que inició la pandemia, con una letalidad en 0.75%.

Ocupación en los hospitales

Por otro lado, de las 2,373 camas Covid-19 con las que cuenta la Red Hospitalaria, están ocupadas 40, para un 1.7%.

 

En Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) de 585 camas, 4 está ocupada, lo que representa un 0.7%.

 

La Dirección General de Epidemiología (Digepi) indica que de un total de 469 ventiladores del sistema, no hay conectados, para un 0.0%.

Grupos de riesgo

Los grupos de riesgos continúan siendo en personas que presentan comorbilidades.

 

El documento oficial estadístico que recoge estos datos señala que por hipertensión los fallecidos corresponden a un 23.12%, mientras que por diabetes un 14.46%

 

Mientras que las mujeres en estado de embarazo afectadas por el coronavirus suman a la fecha 1,880 y los trabajadores de la salud 2,308.
