Pronostican formación de depresión tropical en el Atlántico en 48 horas.

El Centro Nacional de Huracanes de Estados Unidos (NHC, por sus siglas en inglés) emitió su reporte de este miércoles, en el que pronosticaron la posible formación de una depresión tropical en los próximos días.

 

De manera específica, indicaron que hay un 70 % de “probabilidad de formación alta” de depresión tropical en 48 horas.

Asimismo, indicaron que los aguaceros y tronadas se han incrementado levemente en las últimas horas por una onda tropical localizada a unas 800 millas al este de las Antillas Menores.

“A pesar de que las condiciones ambientales están marginalmente conducentes, algún desarrollo gradual de este sistema es posible y una depresión tropical podría formarse durante los próximos días”, leía el informe del NHC.

 

Por tal razón recomendaron a las Islas de Barlovento, Islas Vírgenes y Puerto Rico monitorear el progreso de este fenómeno.
