Presidente de la República Supervisa construcción hospital regional en San Francisco de Macorís

El mandatario, junto al ministro de Vivienda y Edificaciones, Carlos Bonilla, supervisó la construcción del Hospital Regional Universitario San Vicente de Paúl, cuya primera etapa se entregará en el verano de este 2024 y será concluido para finales de año o principios de 2025.

“Va a ser un gran hospital. Un hospital regional incluso con facilidades en temas de especialidades nacionales”, y contará con 19 camas en Cuidados Intensivos (UCI), 11 quirófanos y unas 320 camas de hospitalización, explicó el jefe de Estado.

La inversión realizada es de RD$9,326 millones, incluyendo el equipamiento y generará cerca de 6,000 empleos directos.

En otro orden, el Presidente destacó que están atendiendo otras necesidades de décadas en esta provincia, en la que ya inició el plan de asfaltado y se han construido aceras y contenes en el 40% de los barrios que lo requerían. De igual forma se instalará la Séptima Brigada del Ejército en la fortaleza que está en construcción.
