Presidente Abinader emite decretos para restructurar el sistema educativo de la Policía Nacional.

Santo Domingo.- Como parte del proceso de transformación de la Policía Nacional, el presidente de la República, Luis Abinader emitió los decretos 371-22 y 372-22 que crean una Comisión Técnica para la Reestructuración del Sistema Educativo de la Policía Nacional, una Junta Directiva para la gestión de la transición del Instituto Policial de Educación (IPE) y un Comité Académico del IPE.

 

La Comisión Técnica para la Reestructuración del Sistema Educativo de la Policía Nacional está integrada por Roberto Santana, quien la coordinará, Miguel Escala, Mu-kien Adriana Sang, Eladio Uribe, Radhamés García González, Osvaldo Santana y Gregorio Montero.

 

Dicha comisión tendrá dentro de sus atribuciones propiciar el buen funcionamiento de los trabajos de transformación de la Policía Nacional en materia educativa, así como velar por el cumplimiento del plan de trabajo enviado y aprobado por el Poder Ejecutivo para ejecutar la reforma educativa en el IPE.

 

En lo que respecta a la Junta Directiva para la gestión de la transición del Instituto Policial de Educación (IPE), esta asumirá las funciones de Junta de Administración del IPE, hasta tanto la nueva estructura y organización de ese instituto sea definida.

 

Integran la junta directiva Mu-kien Adriana Sang, quien la presidirá, Elena Villeya, Melba Barnet, Carlos Manuel Estrella, Osvaldo Santana, Radhamés García González, así como también un representante del Ministerio de Interior y Policía, del IPE y del Instituto Superior para la Defensa (INSUDE).

 

Por su parte el comité académico del IPE tendrá por función esencial velar porque el desarrollo de las estrategias educativas que se apliquen estén acordes con las nuevas políticas trazadas en el proceso de transformación de la institución. El comité queda conformado por Miguel Escala, quien lo presidirá, Eladio Uribe, Gregorio Montero y Altagracia López.
