Presidente Abinader anuncia remodelación en instalaciones del Centro de Operaciones Especiales PN.

Santo Domingo Oeste.-El presidente Luis Abinader realizó este lunes una visita de supervisión al Centro de Operaciones Especiales de la Policía Nacional, en el sector de Manoguayabo, donde anunció que serán remodeladas y puestas en instalaciones dignas.

El mandatario explicó que las mejoras en las instalaciones tratarán de hacerlas lo más rápido y eficiente posible, dentro de las condiciones que ofrecen los procesos y las actuales circunstancias.

 

“Aquí no se puede tener ninguna gente, nos dimos cuenta en las condiciones indignas en que nuestros hombres y mujeres que nos defienden de la criminalidad, viven, repito, en condiciones indignas, enfatizó.

 

Como parte del recorrido, el gobernante visitó el comedor, la cocina, área de la piscina, dormitorios, pabellón de oficiales antimotines, consultorio dental y médico, así como el pabellón femenino.

 

Manifestó a los miembros del Centro de Operaciones Especiales y de la Unidad Anti-motines, que el Gobierno se siente orgulloso del trabajo que realizan  los miembros de la policía Nacional.

 

El jefe de Estado expresó, además, que la inmensa mayoría del pueblo dominicano agradece y apoya los trabajos que realizan los miembros de la Policía, al indicar que cuando las comisiones mixtas entran a los barrios los ciudadanos los aplauden porque los quieren tener cerca protegiéndoles.

 

Sostuvo que es un deber del Gobierno proporcionar mejores condiciones para que los agentes se sientan motivados, al reconocer que pese a la situación realizan su trabajo  por el amor y la responsabilidad con su patria.

 

“Por lo menos en las condiciones básicas de dignidad para que se sientan más motivados de defender a su pueblo y de ir gradualmente eliminando la delincuencia y en casos especiales como a ustedes les toca de mucho mayor riesgo, ustedes actúen como han actuado con eficiencia salvando vidas y sobre todo cuidando la población con valentía y eso nos hace muy orgulloso de todos ustedes”, apuntó.

 

El presidente Abinader agradeció a los miembros de la Policía por su ardua entrega y dedicación al servicio del país.

 

“Gracias por su trabajo, gracias por su esfuerzo, gracias por su dedicación, y nos queda a nosotros como nuestra responsabilidad colocar estas instalaciones y también sus condiciones de vida de la mejor manera dentro de las circunstancia más difíciles”, señaló Abinader.

 

Antes de iniciar el recorrido al mandatario le fue presentada una reseña sobre la historia del departamento de Operaciones Especiales que data desde el año 1966. En la actualidad cuenta 819 miembros activos; de los cuales 513 son antimotines.

En el recorrido participaron además, el ministro de Interior y Policía, Jesús Vázquez; el Comisionado para la reforma Policial, José Pepe Vila Del Castillo; el director de la Policía Nacional, mayor general Eduardo Alberto Then y el subdirector general, general de brigada Julio Betances Hernández.

También, el inspector general de la Policía Nacional, general de brigada Pedro Cordero Ubri; el director central de Recursos Humanos, general de brigada Máximo Ramírez De Oleo; el director central de Investigación, general de brigada Paul Cordero Montes De Oca y el director administrativo y financiero, general de brigada (r) Leonardo F. García Álvarez.

 

Igualmente, el director de Operaciones Policiales, coronel Fausto Tomás Aquino y la comandante del departamento de ingeniería, teniente coronel Cleotilde Maribel Soler Peña.

En la visita el jefe de Estado recibió los honores militares correspondientes, y presenció una demostración de las labores de las unidades tácticas o equipo SWAT.

  368. When I originally commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I recieve four emails with the same comment. Perhaps there is a means you can remove me from that service? Many thanks!
