Santo Domingo, RD-El próxima lunes entrarán en vigencia las nuevas medidas de bioseguridad contra el Covid-19 exigidas por Estados Unidos y que serán aplicadas en los aeropuertos del país a los pasajeros que tengan como destino territorio estadounidense.
Los viajeros a ese destino tendrán que presentar en las líneas aéreas su tarjeta de vacunación completa y una prueba negativa de PCR o de antígenos, hecha con 72 horas previa a su fecha de salida.

Como es sabido, el 70% por ciento de los vuelos que se originan en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Las Américas, José Francisco Peña Gómez, tienen como destino territorio de Estados Unidos.
Actualmente realizan operaciones de vuelos regulares desde esta terminal aeroportuaria las líneas aéreas de capital estadounidenses American Airlines, Delta Airlines, United, Spirit Airlines JetBlue Airways y Southwest.
Los menores de edad no necesitarán como requisito la presentación de la tarjeta del programa de vacunación.
Mientras que aquellos con edades de 2 y 18 años de edad, deberán presentar una prueba negativa de que no están infectados del coronavirus Covid-19.
Los detalles de la entrada en vigencia de las medidas establece asimismo, que para los ciudadanos estadounidenses el requisito es presentar una prueba negativa del virus realizada dentro de las 24 horas a la salida del país.
Especifica asimismo que las vacunas aceptadas para poder ingresar a territorio norteamericano son las de Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm y Sinovac, las cuales han sido autorizadas y aprobadas por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS).
Los ciudadanos estadounidenses no vacunados y los residentes LPR no vacunados deberán presentar una prueba negativa de COVID-19 realizada como máximo 1 día antes de su viaje.
En tanto, que la administración de los aeropuertos y las líneas aéreas ha sido notificadas sobre la entrada en vigencia de las nuevas medidas bioseguridad contra el Covid-19 recomendadas por las autoridades de Estados Unidos.
El director de Comunicaciones de la empresa Aeropuertos Dominicanos XXI Aerodom, Luis López, explicó que los directores de los aeropuertos operados por la empresa ya han sido notificados de la aplicación de las nuevas medidas que entrara en vigencia este lunes 8 de noviembre.
