Gobierno anuncia ayuda de hasta RD$100 mil a propietarios vehículos afectados por inundaciones.

SANTO DOMINGO, República Dominicana.- El Ministro Administrativo de la Presidencia, José Ignacio Paliza, la Superintendente de Seguros, Josefa Castillo Rodríguez y Hugo Beras, director del Instituto Nacional de Tránsito y Transporte (INTRANT), anunciaron un programa de ayuda para auxiliar a los propietarios de vehículos, con seguros de ley y los denominados full que no tienen cobertura contra inundaciones, por instrucciones del señor presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, la cual será hasta 100 mil pesos, dependiendo de la evaluación de los daños.

 

Así lo dieron a conocer en una Rueda de Prensa celebrada en la Superintendencia de Seguros, donde la funcionaria reveló que fue instruida por el primer mandatario para buscar un mecanismo que vaya en auxilio de los propietarios de vehículos de motor, los cuales sufrieron pérdidas y averías en las inundaciones acaecidas, en el Distrito Nacional y zonas aledañas, el pasado viernes 04 de noviembre del 2022.

 

Josefa Castillo dijo que en vista de que muchos de esos propietarios asegurados no tienen poder adquisitivo para poseer un seguro full a todo riesgo, incluyendo los comprensivos, “anunciamos al país, que por disposición del gobierno se crea el programa: “Compensación y Asistencia a Propietarios de Vehículos Asegurados, afectados por inundación en el Distrito Nacional y zonas aledañas”.

 

Este programa consiste en dar asistencia para resarcir daños y/o pérdidas ocasionadas a vehículos de motor en ocasión de la inundación, a las personas que sólo tuvieran contratadas póliza de seguro obligatorio (seguro de ley) y a los asegurados con cobertura de daños propios (seguros full) que no incluyeran riesgos comprensivos (daños por fenómenos de la naturaleza).

 

Hicieron un llamado a los propietarios de esos vehículos mencionados, reiterando que sólo aplican los que tienen seguros de ley y aquellos que no tengan cubierto daños comprensivos.

Explicó que los interesados en recibir esa asistencia deberán traer las documentaciones o subirla de manera virtual a través del portal web institucional www.superseguros.gob.do, o de manera presencial en el Centro de Atención al Usuario, para lo cual deben cumplir con los siguientes requisitos:

 

Llenar un formulario presencial o digital con los siguientes datos:

 

-Datos del reclamante

-Datos del Conductor del Vehículo

-Datos del Vehículo

-Descripción del Siniestro

 

Además, debe adjuntar:

 

· Copia de documento de identidad (cédula o pasaporte)

· Copia del certificado de propiedad del vehículo (matrícula)

· Original y copia del marbete vigente a la fecha del siniestro

· Copia del contrato de póliza

· Carta de cobertura

· Imágenes del siniestro

. Original de cotización de daños y/o pérdidas sufridas

Precisó que, para garantizar la transparencia del programa, dispondrán de un equipo de ajustadores que certificarán la veracidad y legalidad de los mismos.

De igual modo, la Superintendente de Seguros aclaró que quedan impedidos de ser beneficiarios de este programa, las personas que no tuvieran contratados ningún tipo de seguros para vehículos de motor y de aquellos, que aún tuvieren seguros, sufrieran daños en fechas distintas al 4 de noviembre del cursante año.

 

Destacó la importancia de tener un seguro al día para cubrir riesgos catastróficos y siniestralidades.

 

ASEGURADORAS ESTÁN CUMPLIENDO

Josefa Castillo manifestó que desde que recibió la instrucción del presidente Luis Abinader, atendiendo a su preocupación y práctica constante de auxiliar ante cualquier situación que afecte a los sectores más empobrecidos, ha direccionado con las compañías de seguros, a través del organismo que los agrupa que es la Cámara Dominicana de Aseguradores y Reaseguradores (CADOAR) y las demás empresas no agremiadas y los corredores, quienes se comprometieron a dar respuestas oportunas ante los daños de los vehículos en las inundaciones del pasado 04 de noviembre, lo cual han hecho hasta la fecha, recibiendo reclamaciones de propietarios de unos 532 vehículos con cobertura de seguro full, con la adicional prima de comprensivo, que cubre daños por efectos de la naturaleza.

Explicó que este bono hasta 100 mil pesos, que ha dispuesto el gobierno a través de la Superintendencia de Seguros, será un alivio para aquellos que fueron afectados con las inundaciones del pasado 04 de noviembre. Reveló que los recursos serán desembolsados de los capítulos del presupuesto nacional, destinados a emergencias.
