La Defensa Civil informó este sábado que fue recuperado el cadáver de un joven que fue arrastrado el pasado jueves por el río Yaguasa, que pasa por el Parque Nacional Mirador Norte, en Santo Domingo Norte.
El joven ha sido identificado como Randy Alcántara, de 16 años de edad.
La institución sostuvo en un comunicado que Unidad de Búsqueda y Rescate, así como unidades de Santo Domingo Este y las locales, se integraron desde tempranas horas de este sábado a las labores de localización.
El operativo de búsqueda inició la noche del pasado jueves, en momentos pasaba por la República Dominicana la tormenta Fred.
