SANTO DOMINGO.- El presidente Luis Abinader preside hoy la segunda vistas públicas del Consejo Nacional de la Magistratura, para evaluar a 25 aspirantes a jueces titulares y suplentes para el Tribunal Superior Electoral.
La vista pública se realizan en el salón Las Cariátides del Palacio Nacional con los protocolos sanitarios contra la Covid-19.
Además del presidente de la República, el CNM lo integran, los presidentes de las Cámaras Legislativas Eduardo Estrella, del Senado y Alfredo Pacheco, de la Cámara de Diputados; el presidente de la Suprema Corte de Justicia, Luis Henry Molina y la procuradora, Miriam Germán; el senador Bautista Rojas Gómez; el diputado Víctor Fadul; así como la jueza de la Suprema Corte de Justicia, Magda Nancy Salcedo Fernández, secretaria.

Las vistas públicas se hacen de conformidad a las disposiciones del artículo 27 del Reglamento 1-17 para la aplicación de la Ley Orgánica del CNM.
En la sesión del pasado martes fueron entrevistados 19 postulantes. En total 77 abogados aspiran a formar parte del alto tribunal electoral conformado por cinco jueces y sus suplentes.
