La Procuraduría Especializada de Persecución de la Corrupción Administrativa (Pepca) y la Dirección de Persecución han ocupado más de dos mil millones de pesos en propiedades durante los operativos realizados en el Coral, sin contar con lo incautado en el caso Pulpo.Los operativos encabezados por los titulares del Pepca, Wilson Camacho y de Persecución Yeni Berenice Reynoso ha ocupado a la red del entramado societario de corrupción liderado por el mayor general Adán Cáceres Silvestre, más de 100 propiedades, entre ellos figuran suntuosas viviendas, fincas, villas, plazas y lujosos vehículos de última generación.
Camacho dijo que eso es parte de la forma actual de perseguir la corrupción, señalando que la procuradora general Miriam Germán no sólo persigue los implicados en casos de corrupción, sino que también procura recuperar el dinero que se haya podido dilapidar del erario.
Sostuvo que hay un nuevo estándar en la investigación de los casos de corrupción, construido con muchas horas de trabajo y la combinación de la experiencia y la juventud.
Expresó que la calidad de los procesos investigados se pueden advertir en la calidad y cantidad de las evidencias que se aportan para las medidas de coerción.“Es evidente que se trata de un trabajo sistemático, organizado y trabajado con rigor metodológico, con rigor científico”, adujo el procurador adjunto.Dijo que en la medida de coerción en el caso Pulpo, cuyo principal implicado es Alexis Medina Sánchez, hermano del expresidente Danilo Medina, refiere que “el caso implicaba en ese momento casi 5 mil millones de pesos, pero que ahora es más.
Los casi 5 mil millones de dinero movido por la red Pulpo hasta ese momento conforme nuestros datos. Repito, es más”.
El 24 de abril se realizaron 27 allanamientos en el Distrito Nacional, Santo Domingo, La Vega, Monte Plata y San Francisco de Macorís y otras provincias. Mientras que el 20 de mayo un equipo de fiscales realizó 18 allanamientos en el Distrito Nacional, Santo Domingo, La Vega, Monte Plata y San Francisco de Macorís, los que incluyen varias fincas, villas, apartamentos, locales comerciales, entre otros.
Los fiscales de la Pepca incautaron varias fincas de cacao en la carretera de Camarón, en Los Botados, Yamasá, de Monte Plata; una finca de auyama y chinola de 249 tareas, un terreno a nombre de uno de los imputados, así como una finca de piña de 754 tareas en Chirino, Monte Plata.Entre los acusados están además de Cáceres Silvestre, se encuentra el coronel Rafael Núñez de Aza, la pastora Rossy Guzmán, su hijo Tanner Flete Guzmán, el mayor de la Armada, Alejandro José Montero Cruz, y el mayor Alejandro Girón Jiménez.
