_A través del Gabinete de Coordinación de Políticas Sociales y el Plan Social de la Presidencia llevan RD$ 50 millones de pesos en raciones alimenticias crudas, medicamentos, electrodomésticos y beneficios a los residentes de la demarcación del municipio Boca Chica._
Santo Domingo.- El Gobierno que encabeza el presidente Luis Abinader llevó una jornada comunitaria al distrito municipal La Caleta en la cual, a través de la Red de Protección Social, en la cual los residentes de esa demarcación del municipio Boca Chica recibieron unos RD$ 50 en asistencia.
En la actividad, el Gabinete de Coordinación de Políticas Sociales, que encabeza Tony Peña, entregó RD$ 10 millones en medicamentos para las Unidades de Atención Primaria y otros RD$ 15 millones en otros servicios a los residentes de la localidad.
El funcionario anunció que en 2023 regresarán a demarcación para reparar viviendas en busca de mejorar las condiciones de vida de los lugareños como parte de los programas ejecutados por disposición del presidente Luis Abinader.
De su lado, Yadira Henríquez, directora del Plan de Asistencia Social de la Presidencia, dijo que en la jornada se entregaron 4 mil raciones de alimentos crudos a igual número de familias y electrodomésticos a cien hogares.
Cuantificó en RD$ 24 millones los recursos invertidos por el Gobierno para llevar asistencia a quienes viven en La Caleta.
Como parte de las acciones de la Red de Protección Social, integrada por diferentes instituciones, durante la semana se entregaron 4,000 Bonos de Apoyo Familiar con RD$ 1,500 y se anunció que a partir del 20 de este mes se entregarán 2,500 tarjetas del Programa Supérate.
También la Empresa de Distribución de Electricidad del Este (Edeeste) instaló cinco transformadores, 50 lámparas para alumbrado público, reparó otras 150 y colocaron 1,500 metros de cable triple para mejorar la calidad de la energía en la zona.
El Ministerio de Deportes reparó cuatro canchas y entregó utilería a los clubes y asociaciones, – porque la intención del presidente Luis Abinader es que la juventud se concentre en las actividades deportivas como forma de mantenerlos alejados de las calles- manifestó el viceministro, Franklin de la Mota.
De su lado, la gobernadora de la provincia Santo Domingo, Julia Drullard, dijo que esas acciones se ejecutan en cumplimiento de un mandato del presidente Luis Abinader de quien dijo dispone los recursos necesarios para que las instituciones puedan llevar mejoría a los dominicanos.
En la jornada la Comisión Presidencial de Apoyo al Desarrollo Barrial entregó 150 canastillas a embarazadas y 20 sillas de ruedas a personas con discapacidad de movilización y 200 mosquiteros y lo Comedores Económicos del Estado entregaron miles de raciones de comida cocida.
Además, el Instituto Nacional de Estabilización de Precios (Inespre) instaló Bodegas Móviles para llevar productos a bajos precios a los lugareños y el Seguro Nacional de Salud (Senasa) inscribió a futuros beneficiarios.
De la actividad participaron, además de los funcionarios mencionados, Andrés Portes, gerente general de Edeeste; Domingo de los Santos, subdirector de los Comedores Económicos; Francisco Colón, vicepresidente nacional de la Comisión Presidencial de Apoyo al Desarrollo Barrial; Guillermo Moringlane, director de Salud del Gabinete de Coordinación de Políticas Sociales y Magalis Segura, encargada del Programa Supérate en Santo Domingo Este.
