Santo Domingo – Con una cantidad 4,015 votos,  la plancha número 2, de la Corriente Jurídica, Unión y Solidaridad,  de la Asociación Dominicana de Abogados (ADOMA), apoyada por el  PRM , gana las elecciones  a la FUPU, del  PLD, quienes obtuvieron 2, 314votos.

El triunfo de Jhonny Aristy sobre la señora Cristal García, quien era apoyada por el PLD y la Fupu, es una muestra que los profesionales del derecho están en contra del PLD.

Las elecciones fueron celebradas, hoy sábado desde las 8 de la mañana hasta 4 de la tarde en la Escuela Paraguay ubicada al lado del Palacio de Justicia de Ciudad Nueva en el Distrito Nacional,  con  25 mesas disponibles para el sufragio.
