Pagarán RD$140.3 millones a más de 15,000 beneficiarios de los programas FASE y PA’ TI que no habían podido cobrar
Santo Domingo, RD-A partir de mañana la Tesorería Nacional comenzará a pagar alrededor de RD$140.3 millones a más de 15,000 beneficiarios de los programas del Fondo de Asistencia Social al Empleado (FASE) y de Asistencia al Trabajador Independiente (Pa’ Ti) que, “por diferentes motivos”, no habían podido recibir el pago.
La información la ofreció la mañana de este miércoles el tesorero nacional, Luis Rafael Delgado Sánchez, en conjunto con el viceministro de Hacienda, Derby de los Santos.
Los funcionarios explicaron que cerca de 31,000 transacciones fueron rechazadas “por algunas incompatibilidades o inconsistencias en los números de cuenta de los bancos”. Por eso los montos fueron retenidos por la Tesorería.
El pago se efectuará vía cheques y de manera personal para garantizar que el dinero lo reciba la persona correspondiente, según explicó De los Santos.
De los Santos indicó que el monto del pago de manera individual oscilará entre RD$4,500 y los RD$8,500, en el caso de FASE, y en el caso de Pa’ Ti RD$5,000. Dijo que hay personas que tienen más de una cuota retenida.
Estos programas fueron implementados en el 2020 con la finalidad de ayudar a los trabajadores formales que debido a la pandemia fueron suspendidos de sus empleos y los informales que dejaron de percibir ingresos por la paralización de las actividades económicas.
El viceministro de Hacienda explicó que a pesar de que hace tanto tiempo, el dinero se devolverá ahora porque aunque se recibían los rechazos y los reclamos, se estaba buscando un mecanismo para crear esta “facilidad masiva” de pago.
Indicó que el dinero que no sea reclamado se quedará en la Cuenta Única del Tesoro.
Procedimiento
A partir de mañana los beneficiarios tendrán 30 días para reclamar el dinero. Previamente deberán consultar, con su número de cédula y fecha de nacimiento, en la página web de la Tesorería si tienen algún pago retenido. Ahí se le indicará la fecha y lugar de entrega del cheque.
