El presidente Luis Abinader aseguró que las promesas de que en su Gobierno existiría un Ministerio Público independiente se está ejerciendo con las últimas investigaciones que ejecuta la Procuraduría General de la República, donde este miércoles se conoció el arresto del funcionario y exdiputado Juan Maldonado Castro.
El mandatario indicó que “caiga quien caiga”, frase que usó la magistrada Miriam Germán Brito en agosto del año pasado, en este país no habrá impunidad y todo el que la hace la paga.
Asimismo, dijo esperar que la Procuraduría y la Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD) expliquen de forma íntegra los detalles de la operación Falcón.
“Yo le prometí a este país que no iba haber impunidad, yo le prometí a este país que iba a ver un Ministerio Público que iba actuar caiga quien caiga y eso es lo que se está ejerciendo en este país. En este país ya no hay vacas sagradas, en este país todo el que la hace la paga, ya se encargará la justicia de determinar y yo espero también que la DNCD, la procuraduría, el Ministerio Público den los detalles integralmente de toda esta operación”, dijo Abinader.
Apuntó que tiene un compromiso sagrado de acabar con décadas de corrupción administrativa y el crimen organizado existentes a través de la impunidad y protección.
Abinader dio estas declaraciones luego del lanzamiento del proyecto “Protoscanner 3D” que ejecutan El Seguro Nacional de Salud (SeNaSa) y el Instituto Tecnológico de las Américas (ITLA) y que consiste en el diseño, fabricación, colocación y seguimiento rutinario de prótesis transtibial, transfemoral y de mano creadas por el ITLA.
