SAN JOSÉ DE OCOA. – Con el propósito de destacar los aportes del Gobierno al desarrollo nacional y para dar a conocer el manejo transparente de los recursos del estado, las gobernadoras de diferentes provincias del país realizan la rendición de cuentas correspondiente al primer año de su gestión.
Los actos son presididos por el director de Gobernaciones Provinciales, Roberto Carlos Jiménez, en representación del ministro de Interior y Policía, Jesús Vásquez Martínez.
Las rendiciones de cuentas iniciaron el pasado 19 de agosto con la gobernadora de Samaná, Elsa de León; seguido de Josefa Oliva Castillo, de San José de Ocoa; Rafaela Javier Gomera de Monte Plata, y Cristiana Rodríguez del Alba, de Sánchez Ramírez.
“Hemos estado recorriendo el país, provincia por provincia a los fines de escuchar la rendición de cuentas de las gobernadoras provinciales, para saber qué han hecho con el dinero que han recibido durante estos primeros 12 meses de gestión y cuáles han sido los aportes del Gobierno al desarrollo en cada una de estas demarcaciones territoriales”, indicó Jiménez.
Informó que en el desarrollo de esta semana continuarán en Santiago de los Caballeros, Espaillat, Salcedo, La Vega, Puerto Plata, Monseñor Nouel, Valverde, Monte Cristi, San Cristóbal y Peravia.
Jiménez sostuvo que estos actos responden a “instrucciones del señor ministro Jesús Vásquez Martínez y siguiendo la línea programática del Gobierno que preside Luis Abinader de rendir cuentas a toda la población de qué estamos haciendo con el dinero del erario”.
Durante el mes de septiembre se tiene programado realizar las rendiciones de cuentas en el Gran Santo Domingo, Azua, María Trinidad Sánchez, Bahoruco, Independencia, Elías Piña, San Juan de la Maguana, Barahona y Pedernales.
En el caso de Santiago Rodríguez, Dajabón, San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, La Altagracia, El Seibo y Hato Mayor, se tiene contemplado realizar los actos en el mes de octubre, finalizando con la provincia Duarte.
