Santo Domingo, RD- El Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE) reportó que aumentaron a 2,175 personas movilizadas de sus hogares, de las cuales 133 tuvieron que ser llevadas a albergues oficiales, tras el paso de la tormenta Fred. Mientras que cinco personas fueron rescatadas por brigadistas, entre ellas tres niños.
En una rueda de prensa, encabezada por el director del COE, el general Juan Manuel Méndez, se informó que 395 viviendas se vieron parcialmente afectadas por las lluvias, mientras que cinco quedaron destruidas.
Incomunicadas se reportaron 41 comunidades y tres carreteras afectadas.
Más de 400,000 ciudadanos sin agua ni luz
La Corporación Dominicana de Empresas Eléctricas Estatales informó que 55 ramales de circuitos fueron afectados por las lluvias y vientos que provocó la tormenta, afectando a 439,263 ciudadanos.

Asimismo, el número de acueductos afectados aumentó a 72, de los que 68 están fuera de servicio y 4 parcialmente afectados,afectan a 820,418 usuarios.
Alertas
El COE mantiene alerta roja para 5 provincias: el Gran Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macorís, San Cristóbal, Azua y San José de Ocoa.
Mientras que aumenta a 17 el número de provincias en alerta amarilla: Duarte, Monte Plata, San Juan, María Trinidad Sánchez, La Altagracia, La Romana, Hato Mayor, Peravia, La Vega, Independencia, Elías Piña, Dajabón, Pedernales, El Seibo, Monseñor Nouel, Barahona y Sánchez Ramírez.
En verde continúan Espaillat, Hermanas Mirabal, Monte Cristi, Samaná, Santiago, Santiago Rodríguez, Valverde, Bahoruco y Puerto Plata.
