Piden intensificar búsqueda de desaparecidos en naufragio de La Romana

De los 20 desaparecidos, siete son la provincia Duarte

La embarcación llevaba a bordo 20 hombres y una mujer de nacionalidad colombiana.

Los familiares de las 21 personas que viajaban en la yola que zozobró el pasado miércoles 7 de julio en La Romana, al este de República Dominicana, pidieron a las autoridades intensificar la búsqueda de los 20 náufragos que permanecen desaparecidos.

 

Hasta el momento, solo ha sido rescatado Roberto Campusano, quien pertenecía al grupo de indocumentados que se dirigían a Puerto Rico a bordo de una embarcación doméstica.

 

Campusano, rescatado en altamar por pescadores dos días después de que zozobrara la embarcación, declaró que la yola en que viajaba se rompió unos minutos después de iniciar la travesía.

 

 

Dijo que junto a dos de los náufragos decidió salir flotando sosteniéndose de un pedazo de madera, ahogándose en el trayecto sus acompañantes. Sus cuerpos no han sido localizados.

 

La embarcación salió el pasado miércoles 7 de julio desde las costas de La Romana y llevaba a bordo 20 hombres y una mujer de nacionalidad colombiana.

 

Entre las personas que naufragaron siete son de la provincia Duarte, seis de Haina, entre ellos el sobreviviente, y el resto de otras localidades.

 

Entre los desaparecidos están Danny López Gonzales de 20 años de edad, “El Súper Anthony” de 35; Maginson Roque Reinoso 27, Odenny Vásquez García y Miguel Mota de 26 y 51 años respectivamente, residentes en Las Guáranas y Edicson Adames, residente en Cenoví.

 

De igual manera, Jeremy Roberto Campusano, de 21 años, residente en Haina.

 

Jean Robert Campusano, hermano de Jeremy Roberto Campusano y primo del sobreviviente, se quejó del pobre trabajo de rastreo que, según denuncia, está realizando la Armada Dominicana.

 

Solicitó a las autoridades intensificar las tareas de búsqueda para que su pariente y el resto de náufragos sean rescatados con vida en una isla de la zona.
