Sánchez, Samaná.- En un hecho ocurrido la madrugada de este lunes perdio la vida un hombre identificado como Luis de Jesús Paredes (a) Luisito la Uva de 44 años de edad en un intercambio de disparos donde también resultó herido de bala en una pierna un miembro de la policía preventiva de la supervisora de Sánchez el sargento Jhon Daniel Moronta Calzado de 35 años de edad.
Según información de lugar, la policía de la dotación policial del mencionado municipio acudió a un llamado donde residentes del lugar habían reportado un negocio de ventas de bebidas alcohólicas el cual se encontraba laborando a altas horas de la madrugada.
Al llegar al lugar los policias al intentar cerrar el local fueron obligados a retirarse pues fueron recibidos con una lluvias de disparos por lo que tuvieron que acudir al llamado de refuerzos de otras provincias para poder controlar la situación.
Policías de diversas demarcaciones como son el municipio cabecera, María Trinidad Sánchez entre otros tuvieron que trasladarse a este municipio para poder reforzar esta situación.
El cuerpo sin vida del hoy occiso fue trasladado a la morgue del hospital municipal Dr. Alberto Gautreaux de Sánchez y posteriormente llevado al INACIF de la provincia Duarte para los fines correspondientes, en cuanto al Sargento herido este permanece en este mismo hospital recibiendo asistencia médica.
