Presidente Abinader muy de cerca a la situación que viven en Las Terrenas y Las Galeras por los daños causados por las lluvias

La provincia Samaná recibió la mañana de hoy miércoles en la gobernación al ministro Administrativo de la Presidencia (interino), Igor Rodríguez Durán, el director del Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia (COE), mayor general retirado, Juan Manuel Méndez y la directora del Plan de Asistencia Social de la Presidencia, Yadira Henríquez.

 

Igor Rodríguez, al dirigirse a los presentes, entre ellos autoridades locales del gobierno y municipales, manifestó lo presente que ha estado el presidente Abinader con los desastres que han causados los recientes aguaceros tanto en el municipio de Las Terrenas y el Distrito municipal de Las Galeras, dijo que a través del Plan Social de la Presidencia han estado dando respuestas, mitigando las situación, primero con alimentos, colchones, entre otras ayudas.

 

Yadira Henríquez, dijo que al recibir el mandato del presidente más humanista que ha tenido este país, como institución se han desplegado para brindar los servicios que frente a estos fenómenos se ejecutan en el Plan Social de la Presidencia, además puntualizó que han ido realizando un levantamiento de las viviendas afectadas.

 

En tanto que el mayor general retirado, Juan Manuel Méndez, expresó que por vía a los organismos de socorro se están dando los pasos de acompañamiento a los afectados, que por instrucciones del Presidente de la República tendrán las herramientas necesarias para poder trabajar en las zonas afectadas y así volver a la normalidad, dijo además, que los aguaceros seguirán incidiendo en combinación con el viento de dirección este/noreste, lo cual mantiene las condiciones meteorológicas favorables para que en la tarde y primeras horas de la noche ocurran aguaceros locales con aisladas tronadas y posibles ráfagas de viento.

 

Dicha autoridades fueron recibidos por la gobernadora Teodora Mullix y los alcalde Nelson Núñez, Cecilio Garcia Pimpe, Luis Felipe Fermín, Rafy Mercardo y Jorge Clemencio George de la gestión presidencial, la viceministra de la mujer Amada Manzueta, entre otras personalidades y autoridades.
