13,500 cruceristas se encuentran disfrutando de la oferta turística de Puerto Plata.

_Actualmente cuatro cruceros están en Puerto Plata: dos en Amber Cove y dos en Taino Bay_

 

República Dominicana– La Asociación de Cruceros de Florida y el Caribe (FCCA), que representa los intereses mutuos entre las líneas de cruceros más grandes del mundo y los destinos del Caribe y América Latina, anunció a las 3:30 de la tarde (en su cuenta de Instagram: @fccaupdates) que “hoy es un ‘digno día de crucero’ en la República Dominicana” explicando que “con dos barcos en Amber Cove y dos en Taino Bay, aproximadamente 13,500 pasajeros de cruceros disfrutan de todos los encantos y experiencias que la hermosa Puerto Plata tiene para ofrecer”.

 

El gobierno del Presidente Luis Abinader se ha puesto como objetivo reactivar y revitalizar el turismo en Puerto Plata y convertir -de nuevo- a la “Novia del Atlántico” en un caso de éxito, basado en el turismo de crucero.

 

Taino Bay

 

Se recuerda que para la inauguración del puerto Taino Bay, en diciembre se 2021, el presidente Abinader destacó que solo en la construcción de la obra se generaron 1,500 empleos directos y más de 3,000 indirectos que impactan a los ciudadanos de Puerto Plata y comunidades aledañas.

 

Además subrayó que la inversión traída al país gracias al proyecto Taino Bay representa un impulso a la economía local a través del sector servicios.
