Alcaldía municipal y la dirección de deportes provincial deja inaugurado una cancha de Bádminton en los nuevos apartamentos de Sánchez.

La dirección de deportes municipal que coordina José Luis Espino ha incorporado esta nueva disciplina deportiva para el municipio de Sánchez con el fin de que jóvenes y niños puedan destacarse y adquirir habilidades diferentes a otros juegos.

El alcalde Ynocencio de Jesús Calcaño, dijo sentirse muy comprometido con el deporte, que siempre estará dispuesto a fortalecer todas las disciplinas para así formar jóvenes sanos, con futuro y de bien.

En tanto que para el director de deportes provincial Juan Carlos Díaz, todas las disciplinas deportivas son bienvenidas, que siente gran satisfacción en ver la incorporación de este nuevo juego para los jóvenes Sancheros.

Bádminton

Es un deporte de raqueta en el que se enfrentan dos jugadores (individuales) o dos parejas (dobles) situadas en las mitades opuestas de una pista rectangular dividida por una red o una malla.

A diferencia de otros deportes de raqueta en el bádminton no se juega con pelota, sino con un volante o pluma en plástico.
